The Sims 4 PC & Console: NEW UPDATE (November 30th, 2021) The Sims Team has released a brand new update for The Sims 4 on PC, Mac, Xbox One and PS4 To download the latest version of The Sims 4, simply open your Origin program and if the game doesn’t update automatically, right click on The Sims 4 and select Update. Now, it’s worth noting that because all your mods are local files, you will need to run this fix for yourself. There were some pretty nice other batch fixes I saw in there too, including fixing the ever-frustrating disappearing bathtub problem! It actually seemed pretty straightforward: Once you had Sims 4 Studio installed, all you had to do was go to:Ĭontent Management > Batch Fixes > Objects > Fix Windows and Doors (Star Wars Patch) Which means that if you installed it and ran the batch fix, it would spot any window and door files in your Sims 4 Mods folder and make sure they clipped properly again. Which brings us to CC doors and windows.īack in November, the creators of Sims 4 Studio released a new tool that could essentially run a batch fix on any and all CC windows and doors that were broken because of the Star Wars patch. It’s also useful just for people who use CC rather than make it because it has a lot of options for fixing and managing your content for you. It’s a pretty cool project, actually, and I didn’t realize it was free to use! ![]() ![]() If you’ve never used Sims 4 Studio before (I hadn’t), it’s the software most CC makers use to create and recolour items. ![]() Sims 4 Studio: The magical fix for all my CC problems
